Citation :: Imperial military - Recognition of imperial orders

Due to several requests from military orders for an imperial recognition this official announcement concerning the imperial military is published.

There is only one military organization recognized by the Emperor. This organization is 'Aquilae Imperatoris' - the imperial army.

Still there is an exception to the rule. The 'Ordre des lames' in the french-speaking provinces of the Empire, who is also known as the 'Garde Impériale' is herewith officially recognized under the condition, that it becomes a part of the 'Aquilae Imperatoris'. The details of the embedding are to be defined by the head of the imperial army. But the 'Ordre des lames' will keep its internal structure as well as it's autonomy under the command of the 'Aquilae Imperatoris'

The 'Aquilae Imperatoris' - and thus the 'Ordre des lames' - is the only military organization with full access to all parts of the Empire by order of the Emperor. There is no need to ask permission of the provinces.
Nevertheless, the provinces in which the imperial army operates should be informed ahead of major movements.

The recognition of other secular orders will remain in the hands of the regional heraldries of the Empire. Each heraldry can decide on it's own about the recognition and the rights given by it.
